Oh, here it comes! ....News letter

Oh wow! It’s been already 8 weeks since the DTS started. And I want to thank everyone who helped this dream to come true!

Within these 8 weeks we had learned so much about who we are and our identity in Christ, we’ve learned His names and “sides” of His character, we came closer to Him as we discovered Him as a loving Father, we found out about the gifts and talents He gave us and the dreams He wants us to dream
J So I guess you understand what I’m trying to say… This school is probably the best experience in getting to know God better!!!!  We learn to use our gifts: healing, prophesying, sharing the word of wisdom and knowledge, we practice giving, mercy and serving. Soon (in a month!!!!!) we will get a chance to practice this in other nations.

It was challenging from the beginning. Let me explain. First we were planning to go to India. But through our prayers God has showed that we need to go to Nepal! Really! This will be a challenging trip. In order to go there, we will travel to Russia first for visas (because we can’t do it in Ukraine) and will do a 20-day outreach there. So after that – the craziest adventure ever! To NEPAL!!!!!!!

Soon the verse in Matthew 28:19 will become a reality for us!!!!!!!!!!!

Now me and two of my teammates, Anya and Jordan, are working on the ministry for international students. We have guys from Nigeria, Ghana, Iraq and Poland. They are so cool and like to worship. Oh yeah, we had a lot of fun doing worship together
J Also we are planning on visiting orphans soon all together.
God is amazing and so good!

Please continue to pray for us as we prepare for the outreach and as we try to work on fundraising. Each of my team members doesn’t have money for it yet. But we learn to rely on God in every aspect!
If you would like to support me, please let me know.

Thank you all for your help and prayers!

No turkey needed

Want to congratulate all my friends who celebrate or not the Thanksgiving Day today. This is a special holiday indeed.

I'm not talking about good food right now (which of course, makes the day even more special). And please don't say something like: "I thank God everyday anyways, why do I need this holiday?!" or "I'm not an American!"
Is this an excuse to not thank God one more time?! I mean, seriously?! :)

There are billion things to be thankful for!!!!!!

Let's come today (in hearts and minds) not as bunch of individuals who are on their own but together as one body (family, friends, fellowship etc.). Let's thank the Lord today for what He has done/doing and will do for us!

I thank Lord for the life He gave me, the one I had before and especially the one as a new creation, for my family and friends all over the world, for my church which is my beloved family in Christ. And I thank the Lord for the amazing things He has prepared for each of us!!!

Love you all!

A little sunshine on a gloomy day

Oh yeah, here it comes....
Sometimes things just NOT go well... They get too much and it feels like if something more happens, you will explode. I felt this was happening with me this week. And it seems to be a normal thing to happen. Everyone goes through this... But, the problem is: how can you go throught this on a mission?!

This was an absolutely new level for me. And it needs to be explained a bit.
When you're doing something like this, people have sertain expectations from you. You NEED to be ALWAYS fine. No matter what. You NEED to be always open to people and be nice. So these are expectations. The reality is: 24/7 you're around same people, all are in one building where you actually can't find a place to stay alone. Ministries, homeworks, intensive studies, a lot of things God is changing in you personally, communication problems inside the team.. It is so easy to become overwelmed? How can you be nice to everyone when you're exhausted?! By the way, I'm not complaining right now :) haha sorry if you misunderstood me. Just trying to explain this kind of situation.

But even in through hardships God will show us His care. The only thing we need to do is to open our eyes and see it! And then - share....

1 John 4:7
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.

God has spoken to me recently that what I do lack is noticing all the good things around when I'm facing hard times. Because it easier for us to focus on the pain instead of seeing some small goood things that we usually take for granted. And we do take A LOT OF THINGS for granted.

God, give me your eyes so I can finally see

5 weeks, 5 turning points

Just a quick review of what was happening these past 4-5 weeks...

What a big transition. Just to explain a bit: I have never been away from home more than for a month. And even then I was soooo homesick. My friend laughs and calls me "greenhouse's one" (teplichnaya). And that is true. Anyways, the big step was made and I went for a crazy adventure called DTS (Discipleship Training School) of the YWAM in Ternopil (Western Ukraine).

So I packed my stuff and got on the train. Simple as it is.

However, God took care of me even then. I've met a really nice lady on the train and she told me about Ternopil. Some people helped me to get off the train and I was nicely met by the director of the school at the train station. So blessed!

We have 11 students in the team. One from Germany, two - from the US, one from Uzbekistan, one girl from Russia, two - from Kazakhstan. Pretty diverce.

They all are very different, though, they are all awesome. I really like my team.
(But oh God, I miss my friends back home!!)

We have already studied Hearing God's Voice, Father's Heart of God, Gifts, Evangelism and One Story. Each week was revealing more and more about God's character and His will for us. Each time it was shocking, amazing, mind-exploding and blessed.

As for the ministry, I will be working with Muslim students mostly from Africa. We have some Christian African students as well. They are very open and kind. I really like them. Excited for the ministry for sure.

One more thing: we might go to Nepal for the outreach!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So please, pray for my team that God will bless us with finances and will prepare us well for this adventure! We need your prayers for sure!

Well, my last blog got somehow deleted... To be honest, I almost cried. It wasn't just a blog full of stuff like: "I went to the ... store, bought ... etc." It was mostly about God's work in my life.

Anyways, I guess it's time to start a new chapter. A new blog. And just wanted to say ahead, that my life has already changed a lot since I came to DTS in Ternopil. And it's been only 4 weeks!

So let the new adventure begin!
